Vick to Packers? GM looking at 'all options'
GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) - Green Bay Packers general manager Ted Thompson isn't ruling out potential interest in Michael Vick.

Asked Tuesday about the possibility of signing Vick, Thompson said the team looks "at all options at all times" but didn't want to speculate about the odds of the team actually pursuing him.

"We look at everything," Thompson said.

Thompson typically is coy about the team's plans, so it wasn't immediately clear whether his comments indicated sincere interest in Vick.

Vick has been conditionally reinstated in the NFL after completing a 23-month federal sentence for running a dogfighting ring. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell has said Vick can sign with a team and begin playing by week six of the NFL season.

More than two dozen NFL teams have said they're not interested in signing the 29-year-old Vick. The others have declined comment or taken a stance like that of the Packers.

Heh, so the Packers essentially have more of an interest in Vick than Brett Favre. That should tell Favre everything he needs to know about how he's NOT wanted in the NFL anymore.

3. no way is he going to the ravens
they finally have a good QB in Joe Flacco with Troy Smith as backup. Unless they make him RB or WR.

9. I'm basing this on an article a few days back that said the Ravens were the only
team "actively evaluating" Vick...then Vick said he was close to signing...we'll see.

2. Well, so much for "Bang on the Drum" after a TD
it'd be "Who Let The Dogs Out?" from then on. :P

10. i doubt he'll be playing in the NFL ever again.
No one wants the baggage and he was never much of a QB to begin with.
