Hey you piss-ant Tiger fans! |
|
If the season ended today, YOUR team would go to the post-season, but THREE other teams with better records than YOUR team would not.
Ohhhh, I hate that!
(same goes for the White Sox and Twins if they overtake the Tigers)

I hate 'em and I hate the unbalanced schedule. We didn't need no stinkin divisions before 1969.

5. I hate the suggestion of getting rid of the divisions. |
|
For one thing, it keeps more teams involved in the playoffs far later into the season. I remember years when the division or the league was basically wrapped up in mid august. The other 5, 7, or 9 teams were basically on autopilot the rest of the year from mid-August on.

8. How about the top 4 teams go no matter what? |
|

Still have a LDS and LCS, but with the 4 best teams.

12. 6 teams and have wild-card week. |
|
Shorten the season by a week, by adding a few double headers during the season. I always loved double headers.

3. Welcome to the AL Central |
|
Get used to it, nothing's changing anytime soon. :)
Also, it's not exclusive to baseball. AFC West last year in football, for example.

6. So the Chargers got to go and the Pats didn't. Big deal. |
|
6 teams from each conference get to go. Only 4 baseball teams get to go. It is a lot more slanted, But I certainly don't want more baseball teams to qualify. The NFL has looked more like hockey and basketball lately.

7. Actually, the idea of six teams would be interesting. |
|
You could have wild-card week with 5 game series. That would garantee the two best teams would have home field advantage like in the NFL!

11. Whoever has the least attendance is automatically in! |
|
We could have impressive series between the Pirates, Natinals, and Marlins. Then they could play the winner of the Orioles/Royals series!!
:woohoo:
Hmmm. Given Bud Selig is running MLB, maybe it will happen!
