1. I'm taking under.
Eli and his big fat contract don't impress me.

4. His numbers are better than his brothers through the same amount of years.
He's an excellent QB who is still improving, and clearly the best in that division.

2. The NFC East's record will probably be skewed due to playing the AFC West.

Denver, Oakland, and Kansas City should be three wins for everyone. San Diego with Norv Turner, who knows!

6. UNder, under, under...
...they'll win 2 games beacuse Placido Domingo Buress is no longer a distraction, but I don't think they have "it" this year.

10. You know thats not an appropriate nickname
Placido...means peaceful. I don't think anyone who shoots themselves in the foot is exactly peaceful..

7. over
this team wins 12 games this year. Easier schedule than last year and a ton of depth. Bradshaw is an upgrade over Ward as the 2nd running back. Osi is back on the DL. Best team in the NFL this year.

12. Tough call
Very talented team but the lack of go-to receivers might kill them in vital situations.

Most of all, the year after losing your title is notoriously a down situation in the NFL. Analysts don't like to recognize it as such but the numbers are devastating. Only 3 times has that team regained the title -- early Chicago under Halas, the '95 Cowboys under Switzer, and the '03 Patriots with Belichick. I always get a chuckle out of the morons who denounce Switzer, when he won an NFL championship in one of the most unfavorable situational influences ever. Yeah, he had talent but so did virtually every one of the teams who have flopped, one year after being dethroned.

For a couple of decades you could count the playoff victories of those recently dethroned teams on one hand. But it's been better since the '95 Cowboys.

13. I am thinking under
as I could see the Giants starting off a little slow, due to injuries and getting their young WR corp up to speed. However by the end of the year they should be at least a 10 game winner and set to make noise in the play offs.

14. Over
With that defense, I'd be shocked if they won less than 12.
