Poll question: Okay, which school's coach spread false rumors about Lloyd Carr?
Lloyd Carr had to hold a press conference to address rumors that he had health problems and would have to step down as coach. This rumor was supposedly spread by another Big Ten coach to hurt Michigan's recruiting (Michigan's recruiting is starting to be phenomenal, thanks to the success Lloyd's players have in the pros.) Who was it?

2. He's definitely got some baggage
funny, when he first came along, I thought he was pretty clean cut - evidence is proving otherwise.

5. Lloyd Carr started the rumors
He wanted any prospective Notre Dame coach to think that there might be an opening at Michigan, that they might be more interested in.

8. At that time, that would have hurt ND
ND was pursuing Urban Meyer at the time, who had out clauses for ND, Michigan, and tOSU. Starting rumors like this may have hurt UM's recruiting, but also could have jeopardized their chances with Meyer.

7. I voted for OSU
But I'm pretty sure anyone at Michigan State would try to capitalize on them. Lame, lame, lame.
