Yep---they lost Saturday and lost pretty badly.
My opinion--- they shouldn't have been favorites in the first place against a tough VT team at home.
Why--because they're not quite there yet and it showed in Vicksburg.
Many pundits... including myself looked at their killer opening schedule and said--- 0-4 or 1-4 start. Well---they're 2-1 with Oklahoma coming up at home next week.
I think they can beat OK at home.... If so--they're 3-1 and have beaten 3 out of 4 top 20 ranked teams. No other team can say that---most are still playing cream puffs and have yet to be tested.
I am absolutely delighted in the turnaround of the Canes and their future ahead.
Am I dissaponited in yesterday's game---Sure...no doubt. VT came to play---Miami was flat in the rain.
But there's an old saying in horse racing if a good horse gets beat--- "throw it out"---IE: fuck that race and look forward to another.
And---that's what I'm doing....

I think the old sayings says "you back a different horse". Plenty o' room on the Hawkeye bandwagon.

2. I hate to see my beloved 'Canes getting beat... |

and I hate to see them lose to the Hokies but, I am, like you, pretty happy with how the team's season looks right now. I think they beat the Sooners, too.
Yep, I'm throwing this one out.
