Any word on whether the Rox will really play?
I heard high twenties, with 20% chance of snow. I have tickets, but twenties? Come on. How 'bout Sunday and Monday.

1. Do they play today?
Personally I think baseball teams should play in rain, snow, or shine but I know that will never happen. I hope they do play and try to carry this momentum they currently have.

2. You're right about the momentum
I think the week layoff in '07 before the Series killed us.

3. Rockies should have built their stadium with a retractable roof
like Safeco in Seattle...sounds to me like they weren't thinking ahead.

Playing in the snow, temperatures below freezing? That's just ridiculous.

4. I disagree
My guess is it doesn't snow a lot in October or a potential early November and the temperatures will challenge both teams and whoever can rise above it deserves to win.

5. They are not calling for a lot of sleet or snow during game time...
just a game-time temperature of 28 degrees. If that happens, it will be the coldest ever postseason game by 10 degrees! There was a 38 degree game in Cleveland not too long ago.

And to answer Upton, we really dislike domed stadia in Colorado. They have never been an option. Our summer weather is delightful and the Broncos and their fans love cold and snow. We even named a blizzard in 1984 after the Broncos. It started on the Monday night football game with the Packers.
