An amazing ending for the Iowa Hawkeyes! |
|
The very last play, the Iowa Hawkeyes score a TD! Another road win for the mighty Hawkeyes! Good grief! I ain't sleeping tonight for a while! WHAT A GAME! 15-13 final score. Whew! Hard hitting Big Ten football. Head knocking game by two head knocking teams. WOW!

Sorry, not meaning to be a dick in the other thread. I just get sick of bad calls. Their were probably 1 or 2 I didn't see going the other way.
Congrats on a great game.

I honestly thought that the game was over when MSU scored after that gimmick play. But one should not count out the Hawks. Remember the Capital One Bowl a few years back, remember the Ohio State game with Marvelous Marv Cook in the '80's, and, not to rub salt in the wounds, remember the Chuck Long naked bootleg in '85 against MSU.

3. That was an exciting last few minutes for sure |
|
Other than the two goal-line stands, that game was rather dull most of the way (and I like defensive football), but damn did they pack a lot into the last few minutes. A very exciting finish, and congrats to the Hawkeyes on the best start in school history. :toast:

We suffered some injuries tonight. We should handle Indiana but NW ALWAYS plays us tough. And we don't play at home as well as on the road. Plus, we've always shit our pants at the mere mention of the Horseshoe. That being said, this team has SOMETHING. To tell you the truth, I'd love to play you guys. The Alamo Bowl 3 years ago was one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen. Prediction: 11-1. Rose Bowl against USC or Oregon.

But he also donates to Democrats in his home state so he can't be that bad.
Edit/USC beat Oregon State so it could very well come down to Oregon/USC but Oregon won't have it easy against Oregon State so I still believe it's somewhat up in the air.
