Forecast for the start of the World Series - bad again
Wednesday
Rain likely. Highs in the upper 50s. Chance of rain 70 percent.

The question is if it will move out by gametime.

That is IF it is in New York. The media sure seems to think it will be.

Freaking October 28th??? The NBA starts on the 27th!

7. If I recall, the season was delayed a week because of the WBC
which Steinbrenner was opposed in the first place, because he didn't want his players getting hurt.

though I think the ONLY thing keeping them from having Game 7 on Thanksgiving is that the NFL has had a pretty strong monopoly on turkey day.
