4. There's football in DC? |
|
You mean Georgetown? Howard?
Or are you referring to the NFL team from nearby Maryland, the one that coughed up four turnovers last night?

6. I always feel sorry for the fans of teams like this. |
|
I remember those 1-15, 2-14 years under Tony "Happy Feet" Eason. It's brutal. Some teams are so bad they only illicit sympathy from me. :)
I like it better when a team comes oh so close and then dies a horrible death.

Do you remember Victor Kiam and Don McPherson. And then players flashing the female sports reporter. God they were horrible!
I went to a party and the hosts were big Patriots fans back when the Bears played the Pats. It was a lonnnnnnnnnng night and very quiet. Needless to say, they still hate the Bears!
I guess that would be like a team that goes 11-5 and doesn't make the playoffs, while two 8-8 team go to the championship game and one goes to the Super Bowl. Is that what you mean by a horrible death???
Ironically, I kind of like the AFC - East! Dallas has won three Super Bowls against the AFC East! Thanks to the Phins and Bills!!

10. Forget 11-5, I was thinking of that 18-1 thing. |
|
THAT'S a horrible death. :)
And how could I forget the Ruby Shirts of Omar Kiam? That team found the most creative ways to lose. And then, in the one game they actually should lose to get the number 1 pick in the draft, they go and beat the Colts 6-3. Forget horrible, that team was comedy gold. GOLD, Jerry!
