They're well on their way. Starting out 0-4.
I think they'll be 0-7 after this series with the Braves.
I can't believe that four games into the baseball season I'm already looking forward to the start of the NFL season.
I bet Willie Randolph is fired by mid-season. His 'its just one game' act is getting old already.

They are bound to win at least 30 games by accident.
Still a week in and the season looks like a long one already. Still hope springs eternal and I'm going to opening day at Shea on Monday - my 20th opening day in a row. Cripes where does the time go?
Here' hoping they at win at least one before they get home.

I think the next two pitchers they face are Pettitte and Clemens . . . make that 0-9 . . . on edit: maybe Randolph should pick up this book . . . http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1566634881/103-2032720-2243818

it will forever be identifed to me as the Braden Looper season. If a season can be predicted in one inning it was the 9th inning of their first game.

6. Sure don't want to beat the man Rev |

and I would put as much blame on the Mets defense. For years now they have fielded some of the shoddiest teams in their history. When you don't score a lot of runs and you don't have a great bullpen the defense cannot afford to lose games. Fundamentals first, everything else follows.
