Dolphins lose another player for the season |
|
http://www.wptv.com/content/breakingnews/story/jason-ferguson-out-for-year-injury-wptv-miami-dolp/hUp4G88MY02NxBNOWcxpfg.cspxMiami Dolphins nose tackle Jason Ferguson is out for the season with a quadriceps injury. Dolphins coach Tony Sparano on Monday confirmed the decision to place Ferguson on injured reserve and said he wasn't sure if Ferguson would need surgery. And still they have a better record than the 49ers . . .

3. As much as I'm not a Dolphins fan at all |
|
I feel bad for them. I think Ronny Brown has probably played his last game for Miami, too. If I remember right, he's a free agent after this year anyway.
He'd look real nice in NE given the Pats habit of stockpiling often injured but otherwise pretty good running backs.

This is his second season ending surgery in 3 years...
The ankle isn't as bad as the knee was...so who knows.
I'm still pissed they let Welker get away...

5. I think with Ricky back there, and the good look they'll get at White |
|
running the wildcat over the next few weeks (I think he'll do well), they'll look to spend Ronnie's money elsewhere.
I'm still not sure how they let Welker get away, he wasn't even asking for that much, if I remember right, Welker just didn't fit into their "scheme". I'm not sure which scheme has no use for a slot receiver with quick feet and great hands, but then the '07 Phins didn't seem to have much of a plan going into that season and luckily were able to get Parcells to come in and clean house midway through.

7. Kind of. He has an opt out clause for 2010 |
|
In that scenario he would be a restricted free agent.
He's a free agent 2011. I can't remember the details but there is also something if there is a new collective bargaining agreement then he becomes a free agent or he has the option.
