1. LoL
I know people don't routinely complain about getting hit with batteries at Yankee Stadium. Oh... wait....

Seriously though, firstly, I'd like to say that no matter what, the fan was wrong because he shouldn't have been leaning over the wall one way or another. That said, it really doesn't look like he took a swing at Sheffield. I think it's been blown way out of proportion.

2. *snort*
you should have seen the shitstorms in the Sports Forum last night. I reminded them about the Karim Garcia/Jeff Nelson incident, but apparently the groundskeeper with permanent nerve damage shouldn't have provoked them.

5. I heard he was drawn and quartered ...
his wife was assaulted, his dog was run over and a dirty bomb was set off in his house.

But I could be wrong (damn Herald).

7. I saw them rape his corpse afterwards!
Seriously, Yankees fans need to...what's the phrase? Oh yeah--LIGHTEN UP. If they don't like violence, there's always the Garcia/Nelson incident to remind them of.

Torre whining after the game that "these people shouldn't even be allowed on the street, much less into a baseball stadium" made me want to puke. Cry me a river, Joey boy!

9. hahahhaha
But Jeffrey Meier! Jeffrey Meier! Jeffrey Meier! Jeffrey Meier! Jeffrey Meier! but hey Yankee fans are all class when it comes to baseballs in play, thats why Meier allowed Tarasco to catch the ball thus enabling the Baltimore Orioles to win Game One of the 1996 ACLS, and later the '96 ACLS, they later won the world series against the Braves, ahhh to dream :). Good one sniffa.
