Congratulations to Martin Truex Jr. NASCAR Busch Series Champ! |
|
The sweet part is that he won it in a Replica of Big E's 1981 Wrangler car....his first Winston Cup championship!!

It was a great race too. That Wrangler paint scheme really looked good. I'm thrilled for Martin.

I listened to race, sounded like a good ending. Did anyone see the end of the truck race. Bobby Hamilton wrecked his boy, it was Little Bobby's fault, during the last restart. He took a big lead going into the last race, but was crying in the interview and could barely speak. Pretty emotional moment.

Hamilton Jr. missed a shift and his dad put him in the wall.
I'm bracing myself for withdrawal symptoms. The season is almost over. :(

(I wish they'd let the drivers get out of the car and catch their breath before shoving the mic in their faces) but I'm sure he feels a lot better knowing that Bobby Jr. said he missed a shift, that it was his fault, and there wasn't anything Bobby could have done to keep from wrecking.
