Fear The New Jersey Nets....If They Make The Playoffs
Right now, the Nets are destroying the 76ers 65-47 at the half. Vince Carter has 23 points. Jason Kidd has 11 assists. He's 1 point and 4 rebounds away from a triple double.

This is the FIRST HALF.

With Cleveland losing earlier today, if the Nets win they should have enough to claim the 8th seed. With luck, they could beat out Philly for the 7th.

I would not want to play this team. Especially if Richard Jefferson, who was averaging 22 points a game when he was injured, comes back for the playoffs, which the team said today he will.

I would fear this team.

We are waaaaaaaaaay better than Boston or Philly or Cleveland. Hell, if we get RJ back, we're probably better than any team other than Miami.

2. Carter has 38 with 1:30 left in the 3rd quarter
you got someone on your team who can guard him?

3. Nets Beat Philly 104-83
Take the season series, and thus, the current No. 8 spot in the playoffs.

Vince Carter finishes with 43 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Jason Kidd has another Triple-Double - scoring 11 points, with 16 assists and 10 rebounds. Rookie center Nenad Krstic scored 18 points and had 10 rebounds.

This team is not going to be easy to beat over a 7-game series.

Especially if Richard Jefferson returns.
