Landon Donovan has thanked Everton's fans for their support and revealed he expects to return to the club after his loan expires.
Everton have beat Chelsea and Manchester United since Donovan's arrival on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy but the forward is due to return to the US next month.
The 28-year-old is looking forward to going back to America, but he is loving his time at Goodison Park and admits he would like to return at some stage in the future.
Donovan told evertonTV: "Since the day I got here, the fans have been fantastic. I was really overwhelmed by how many people were aware that I was coming and knew who I was and said 'welcome to Everton'.

It's been fun watching them these last few months; David Moyes has them on solid footing. The Merseyside Derby was a hell of a match, and this past weekend's dismantling of ManUre was a thing of beauty.
