Donovan keen on Toffees return
Landon Donovan has thanked Everton's fans for their support and revealed he expects to return to the club after his loan expires.

Everton have beat Chelsea and Manchester United since Donovan's arrival on loan from Los Angeles Galaxy but the forward is due to return to the US next month.

The 28-year-old is looking forward to going back to America, but he is loving his time at Goodison Park and admits he would like to return at some stage in the future.

Donovan told evertonTV: "Since the day I got here, the fans have been fantastic. I was really overwhelmed by how many people were aware that I was coming and knew who I was and said 'welcome to Everton'.

Landon seems to have fit in very well at Everton. It's been fun watching them these last few months; David Moyes has them on solid footing. The Merseyside Derby was a hell of a match, and this past weekend's dismantling of ManUre was a thing of beauty.

1. ManUre!!!!

But "Toffees"? "Toffs" (useless gits) is more like it. And now they've got our guy. Kind of like the Cowpies with Hawai'i punter Mat McBriar. :eyes:

2. I've never been a fan of Donovan
sure he's had success with the US team, but his hiding in the minor league MLS (while other US players ply their trade in Europe), after failure in the Bundesliga, didn't exactly have me thinking he was EPL material..

So I've been somewhat surprised..but it's going to take more than a few weeks to change my mind..

3. Total agreement here
He's always seemed overhyped to me; however, to his credit, he seems to be playing quality football with Everton.

I was really shocked when news of the move to Everton came out, but he's done well so far. Good for him.
