The rest is $16.2 million over 3 years. Often times they spread it out where it gradually increases or give a big portion of it in the final year of their contract. In Haynesworth case they paid most of it in the first season. Most of it was a $21 million signing bonus.

Tennessee has apparently offered to pay the $9 million and then the balance of the last three years for an additional total of $15.7 million.
