Redskins sign Darrion Scott (Child Abuser), adding to the defensive line
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/redskinsinsider/redskins-sign-darrion-scott-ad.html

The Redskins have signed yet another veteran defensive linemen, agreeing to terms with Darrion Scott, a defensive end who has been out of the league for two seasons, the team announced. Scott formerly played with Minnesota but spent last year in the United Football League.

Scott was a third-round draft pick by the Vikings in 2004 and played there until 2008, compiling 128 tackles and 9 1/2 sacks during that time. He spent last season playing with the UFL's Florida Tuskers, coached by Jim Haslett, the Redskins' new defensive coordinator.

In July 2008, Scott pleaded guilty to child endangerment for which he received a two-year stayed sentence.

Scott, an Ohio State product, is listed as a 6-foot-3, 289-pound defensive end.

The Redskins have stockpiled these veterans defensive linemen with the hopes that a couple could again make an impact in the league. Scott is the sixth veteran they've added to the D-line the past several weeks.

They previously traded for Adam Carriker and signed free agent contracts with Howard Green, Anthony Bryant, Maake Kemoeatu and Greg Peterson.
