Bobby Bowden Plans On Converting His Players To Christianity |
|
Edited on Sun May-22-05 09:46 AM by Magic Rat
I didn't read this anywhere but in a blub in Newsday this morning. Has anyone else read this? Apparently he's following in the lead of the head coach of the Air Force football team, who's doing the same thing.
Wow.

1. Why is this man still coaching? |
|
Isn't he about 80 years old? You wonder why a man that old thinks he can relate in any way to young guys 18 to 22 years old.
If I were one of his fundy brethren, my first thought would be latent homosexuality bordering on NAMBLA pedophilia.
I am sure there is some young fellow on his staff who would do a better job coaching FSU at this point.

4. He doesn't have to relate. He wins, and gets them to the NFL |
|
$$$$$$$$$ is how he relates.

12. Steve Spurrier was quite the atheist |

Oh wait, he wasn't.
As long as the 'Noles win, I don't care, but Bowden needs to spend a little less time baptizing people and a little more time game-planning for the 'Canes.

3. FSU is one of the most corrupt programs in NCAA football |
|
The list of undesirables that have been run through Saint Bobby's funhouse in Tallahasee is to numerous to recount. Reminds me of GOP Rep Tom Osbourne's program in Nebraska. Every criminal thug on the team (Phillips,Peter) deserved a second chance but now that he's in congress it's "law and order" time. Fuck both of them.

5. Why is FSU going to a "No-Huddle" offense? |
|
School attorneys decided a huddle would be a parole violation for most of the players.

He gets taller!
Florida has some of the best football programs in the country.
People are jealous of success.

9. oh really? Warrick Dunn played here and NO ONE is a better |
|
person than Warrick. he builds houses for single mothers and Derrick Brooks takes underprivileged kids to Africa for two weeks every year. So don't be so grumpy if you don't know what you are talking about.
we've had some bad ones, as every team does, but we've also had some stellar ones.

16. Warrick Dunn and Derrick Brooks are great guys |
|
Former Hurricane Edgerrin James, who many people write off as a thug, also does a lot for underprivileged kids, especially those in his hometown of Immokalee.
