I'm heading out for my last deer hunt of the season
One more deer will give me a good amount to take to the butcher for deer hard salami and 50 50 spicy sausage. I make my own jerky.

3. Mmmmmm, deer jerky.
I use ground deer meat seasoned liberally with whatever ground hot peppers I have lying around and usually soy or teriyaki sauce. Then it hits the dehydrator.

Any tips on how you make your own jerky?

8. Very nice.
Ground habaneros and banana peppers are great to add too. At my office, everyone cries about how hot they are, but they don't have a problem eating pound after pound of it.

7. I have a dehydrator but it takes 18 hours
The oven is quicker only about 3 or 4 hours total.
