is the REAL Yankee team . . . this is not a good team playing badly . . . this is a bad team . . . they're about a .500 club this year, and they aren't going to get much better . . . virtually all the moves they made over the winter have turned out to suck . . . BIG time! . . . they can't beat the good clubs, and lately can't beat the bad ones either . . .

the Yankees will end up third or fourth in the division this year, behind Baltimore and Boston . . . and possibly even Toronto . . .
