What a horrible call (Spurs vs Warriors) |
|
This wasn't subjective, or homerish in any way.
Towards the end of the half, the Spurs had the ball. 3.2 seconds on the game clock, 3.0 seconds on the shot clock.
The Spurs couldn't get a shot off, so they had a 24-second clock violation.
3.0 - 3.2 = 0.2 right?
So the refs put 1.4 seconds on the clock. Did these guys work the '72 Olympics or something?
Thankfully nothing came of it, but still. That's a glaring error, and easily pointed out, as the coach of the Spurs did before they started play. And the refs ignored him.

Hey, the Blazers even beat the Pistons tonight. In Detroit. I couldn't believe it.

at the time, it was a very close game.
And that was just such an obvious and egregious mistake.
Good job by the Gangstas, though.
