Auspicious start in Boston. |
|
Bs score two goals on first five shots and Ward is pulled. Canes don't even look like the same team that took apart Tampa Bay at the game I was at Saturday night. And now a power play goal by Boston. Oh well, nature of the beast. Sometimes you're on and sometimes your off. We'll have to jump on them on their return matchup in Raleigh.

1. Even though the B's lost the other night they've been playing real good hockey the last few weeks. |
|
I was surprised by the 1st period because the Canes have been playing great lately as well. Long ways to go yet though.

2. We don't have it today though we've won 4 out of our last 5. |

Your Bs look good today and we're a step behind.

3. When this homestand started they were really concerned about making it tough to play in Boston. |
|
Right now, the Bruins have a better road record than home record, and they wanted to focus on fixing that. Assuming they hold on today they'll have gained 6 of 8 points on the homestand, a big improvement.
The Cane's will be out for some revenge tomorrow night. :)
