This NHL All Star Draft is Pretty Cool
Would love to see this for the other leagues, especially the NBA

1. It's awesome how they're doing this.
Hope they do it every year.

2. Absolutely agree
Love to see it in baseball too, especially if they mixed leagues -- but first they'd have to drop that absurd World Series home-team advantage rule.

3. I thought the way Eric Staal made brother Marc sweat was pretty funny.
I'm heading to the skills competition pretty soon. Then tomorrow, the All Star game.

4. I definately liked the concept also
and really think the NBA fans would agree.

About the only downside is that hockey players aren't as flamboyant as their NBA counterparts. It got a little drab.

5. Your downside is my upside, and one of the reasons i like hockey so much.
I like that the players are down to Earth. They certainly seem a lot more humble than most other sport's stars are, and i think that's a plus. :)

6. I totally agree that I love hockey way more than basketball for that very reason
but this was a show, not the actual game.

It would have been more entertaining with the personalities that basketball players have.

7. I think Ovi is one one of the few players that's flamboyant.
And, love him or hate him, he seems to be having a great time whenever I see him.

I can't wait for real games to start tomorrow so we can see some actual body checks and slapshots!

8. Well, I hate him,
but do agree that he does seem to be having fun.

9. I can't decide if I like him or not.
Some of his antics bug me, but he's also very fun to watch.

10. You mean the juvenile goofiness?
That's not personality. That's arrested development.
