North Texas' first Super Bowl falls short of setting attendance record, among other things

8:30 p.m. -Super Bowl XLV may be remember more for the things that went wrong, than right.

The weather didn't cooperate; workers were injured after snow fell off Cowboys stadium; some ticketholders waited hours to get into the stadium - and at least 800 ticketholders lost their seats at game time after the fire marshal shut down part of the stadium.

And now, this: Jerry Jones fell short of setting the attendance record.

Although its unclear why, 103,219 people watched the game, falling short of the record of 103,985 set at the Rose Bowls in 1980, when the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Los Angeles Rams 31-19 in Super Bowl XIV.

North Texas' first Super Bowl just couldn't catch a break.
