What I'm liking is not just that they're winning, but how they're winning. If you're not ahead of them going into the 3rd period you're in trouble. They have something like a +30 goal differential in the 3rd period. That means they play well with the game on the line, and once they get a lead they can slide into their defensive mode and shut teams down. There's nothing flashy about this team, just a solid system and discipline.
They'll probably lose in the first round lol.

I just got done watching the Suns in Indianapolis. Wow, Grant Hill makes a 3 to send it to overtime and Channing Frye makes a last second 2 to get a much needed win. They're still a few games back from 8th place.
Anyways, Boston seems to be doing very well. Even though I posted it for you, it is an interesting story to me. Got a win in Vancouver (who seems to be doing great) during a road trip. Things have been quiet for the Coyotes, they lost a couple games after their long win streak. They got a game this evening.

5. Coyotes made a trade today. |

http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=554482Not sure who got the better of this one overall. I like Upshall, and Lepisto has been solid with a good +/- rating. I like also Klesa, but those injury prone guys make me nervous.

Thanks though, I have no clue how to rate these trades.
I think the Bruins are still perfect, I didn't see the third period of Bruins and Edmonton. That is because they had a 3-1 lead and you said if they got a lead going into the 3rd...
Coyotes ended up losing in a shootout that same night to Chicago.

I just watched the games. :D
It's a great road trip, and very cool to see, but there's a long way to go and a lot can happen. Being 2nd best on the road isn't all that awesome when you're only 3 games over .500 at home. They need to address this over the last part of the season if they mean to be a serious contender. If they do that they'll be a damn tough team to beat. All the pieces are there. Trouble is, about 8 other teams also have all the pieces in place. :)
