2. wouldn't have pegged you as an Eagles fan |
|
Or is this good news for you, fearing a Pats / Eagles superbowl matchup?
I was raised in eastern Pennsylvania and currently live here, in Boston. I will admit to not knowing exactly which way to root should that occur.

Because of his bet with LynneSin.
Not that the Pats would've lost the Super Bowl anyway, even with a healthy T.O.

What's with all the ill will?
New England has already been to the dance once or twice in the past few years. The Birds have been there since I was in college (which was a LONG time ago)
Plus, didn't Boston just win some sort of championship recently?

Philly can lose the rest of the year and still have home field and a first round bye. That's a lot of time for TO to heal up. Unless he really tore himself up, he'll be in the playoffs.

20. T.O. most likely out until the Super Bowl. |
|
Just listened to the press conference. There is a slim chance he'll be back for the Championship Game but it looks like he won't be back until the Super Bowl. That's ok, the NFC still has nothing for the Eagles but it will be really hard to win it all without him. He's in ridiculously good condition so he has a better chance than most to make it back for the big game. We'll see.

22. Thats wishful thinking if you think he's going to be back for the SB... |
|
Edited on Wed Dec-22-04 06:06 AM by Robeson
...and EVEN if the Eagles make it, and they play him, everytime he goes out for a pass, he's risking a reinjury. They can have all the hyperbollic chambers they want in his house, but his leg will still be weak. I'm smelling the Dirty Birds in Atlanta catching up on those Eagles. And as crappy as the NFC is, don't count out the Panthers, if they get in.

21. Fracture- they put a screw in there.ouch. |
|
Sounds like he's done for the season. They said possibly the S.B., but years ago I had a hairline fracture on my ankle, I was in a couple of casts for 6 weeks, didn't feel better for about a year, but we'll see what modern medicine can do.
