A big fuck you to the selection committee
How do you leave Colorado out and let teams like UAB, USC, and VCU in?

Florida a number 2 seed while Texas is a number 4?

Georgia over Alabama and they are getting a bye!!!

1. Virginia Tech got screwed as well
Last year Maryland got in based on beating Duke, VT beats Duke and they get stiffed? Thats the second year in a row VT's been snubbed.

2. I'm a Trojan fan
and I can't understand how SC got in over Colorado.

I thought the Buffaloes were a lock. I had them as a 10 or 11 seed.

5. Not necessarily location,
but lack of "reputation".

See 19-14 Michigan State.

3. Colorado should have been a sure bet...
this is a really bad decision.

6. I'm seething about that right now.
:grr: My Buffs made a great run in the Big XII tourney, and they had a good season and so many people had been saying it was a pretty sure thing they'd be in... And to get left out just makes my blood boil, especially for those seniors who won;t have another chance to go to the Big Dance. :argh:

7. I don't think the play-ins should be to the middle of the field.
They should be into the 16 seed. This will give a few teams an extremely unlikely tournament win. Play in to the 11 and 12 seeds aren't great. I guess it means a play in team may win the entire thing someday. Whatever.

8. I agree with you -- I think it also kind of sucks that the 5/6 seeds don't know who they'll play n/t
It doesn't matter so much if the play-in game is for the 16 seed, because the 1's should be able to handle either team with relative ease ...
