1. Good evening, Mr. Mad. This is your wake-up call.
As for me, I'm gonna catch up on my Z's tomorrow. :boring:

2. That was the absolute worst NCAA Championship game in modern history.
It was the equivalent of a 4-3 BCS National Championship football game with 20 turnovers.

6. The elevated floor and the cavernous arena effected shooting for everyone (except Butler)
in the semis

When I saw the score this morning and the local news said they shot 18% combined I thought that my oh so salient point that I made at the office yesterday had come true. Except for Butler in the Semis (dammit) no one seemed to be able to get a handle on where the rim was.

7. I don't thin Butler shot that well in the semis.
This venue was the pits. This is the only championship that we actually truly change the field that the game is played. on. The NCAA sucks ass. The game should be played in a 20,000 seat stadium.

4. Congrats to UConn, but did it strike anyone as odd that
we got through the whole broadcast (unless I missed something, and I didn't miss much of the game) without a mention of the fact that UConn was sanctioned by the NCAA for recruiting violations just a few months ago. Given the state of sport journalism these days (always looking for the controversy), I thought for sure this would have come up.
