Tebow believes he's ready to start

Tebow does "truly believe" he is ready to become the Broncos' full-time starting quarterback this year. "I'm looking forward to the competition to prove that I can do that," he said in a phone interview. ... Q: John Elway has said you are raw as a quarterback and must become a better pocket passer. What's your response? A: "I haven't taken a snap in the offseason from the shotgun. It's all been under center, five and seven drops and passes from the pocket. I've done that thousands of times, working out six-seven hours a day, seven days a week. There's a big, positive difference."

2. I think Timmy believes a lot of things that aren't based in reality.

Having said that, I see no reason why he shouldn't be allowed to compete for the starting job. He's done enough and Orton is weak enough that it should be an open competition.

I don't see any reason why he shouldn't be starting for the Broncos.
