Why I am suing Washington City Paper
On Tuesday I am refiling my lawsuit against Washington City Paper, a tabloid paper that published false and reckless charges about me in November 2010. The case needed to be refiled in Washington, not New York, for legal reasons; the rest of the complaint is essentially the same.

I expect to be criticized once again for pursuing this lawsuit. I originally filed it for one reason: The paper refused to issue an apology and retract false and damaging attacks on my integrity. If it had done so, there would have been no lawsuit.

First of all, he doesn't seem to grasp the concept of parody. Or free speech. Or the fact that people loathed him before and after this column (Hey DOOFUS, liberal DC doesn't tend to like people who ILLEGALLY cut down old growth forest so they can have a better view of the river). Or maybe its the meddling arrogant way you've run your franchise..to the point where you even wore out/down Joe Gibbs, the most honored Redskin... Lets not get into the outrageous fees you keep pushing on your fan base for parking etc...And we all know you are gonna recoup your expenses for this costly nonsense by raising prices at your games.
God, at least dumbass Dubya had to eventually leave. There is no relief in sight from this ahole. And FTR, you've now managed to alienate me, a fan for more than half my life (since 1982) from the team. And I'm not the only one. Go te HELL Snyder and take your now totally pathetic football team with you.:nuke:

Back when news of the Dan Snyder lawsuit against City Paper first broke, the topic was never raised on Tony Kornheiser’s ESPN 980 radio show. That seemed odd, seeing as how Tony Kornheiser’s ESPN 980 radio show is largely devoted to the topics of D.C. sports and D.C. media.

Well, the story is back in the news this week thanks to Dan Snyder’s op-ed announcing a re-filed lawsuit, and this time, Kornheiser decided to dip his toe in the water. This comes from the second half of Tuesday morning’s show.

“I’m going to be dismissive of this, but I’m not gonna force anyone else to be as dismissive as I am,” Kornheiser began. “I have not talked about this before, and I’m gonna talk about it now, briefly. I’m gonna preface it by saying that there are two companies that provide me with the economic opportunity that I’ve had in recent years, which has been very beneficial to me. And in the words of my colleague Bomani Jones, I’m not gonna mess around with where the money comes from ok?

for filing a frivulous lawsuit...not sure how the law works with getting Snyder to cover the paper's costs, but that would be nice if that happened.

that the City Paper has received many many MANY donations form DC residents to fight this. I think that speaks VOLUMES about how he is felt about around here.
