2. I think this is the final right here....
You'd have to say Chicago is the favorite to come out of the east, but they're young and not play-off tested yet. Stern may decide the refs should throw it for the Fakers again this year because he has a lot of money riding on that, but on a level playing field, you gotta think the winner of this series is the best in the league.

3. Heat need to win the first two
I can't see them taking a game in Boston if they're up against it.

Kind of surprised at the relatively high series price:

Miami -175
Boston +155

6. I won't be terribly dissapointed if they lose to the Celts.
The Heat are a big man and a decent point guard away from a dynasty.

7. Time for Celtics second team to step it up. Heat can't match up with these guys.
Jeff Green? This means you.

Team one failed as well.

15. I think the winner of tonight's game takes the series
Edited on Tue May-03-11 02:18 PM by Awsi Dooger
Up 2-0, the Heat gain confidence and relax, good chance to steal one in Boston.

But if it's 1-1 it's like here we go again, the Celtics holding trump. I can't see Miami winning in Boston if pressured to do so.

Tonight's game doesn't figure to resemble game one. Lower scoring, for one thing, perhaps much lower scoring. The Heat may be shell shocked early when the cheap outside shots are denied, or clank. Miami needs to prove it can win an 85-82 type game.

Boston actually benefits from dropping game one by relatively wide margin throughout. The absolute worst scenario for a game one road team is to contest the game but narrowly fall short. That inevitably lends itself to a home team blowout in game two. But when the game one road team doesn't seriously threaten, the home team often is somewhat complacent in game two.

Screw the tendencies. Go Heat. Winnable now. It's a flawed team but so is the rest of the league.
