USC stripped of title

Expected, of course. They had to wait for the NCAA appeal to be denied.

2. Time for a MAJOR reformation of College Football.
The honest schools (and I'd say 90% comply by the NCAA antiquated rules)should be rewarded. The cheaters must die. The only way to stop this shit is the death sentence. Does SMU ring a bell?

4. Since some schools are itching to pay their players (they probably already are)..let's have a 2-tier
system...those that are really college and amateur, and those who don't even try and cover up their semi-professional status.

7. The AP poll has always been the more valid reference point
USC is the champ from 2003 and 2004. Nothing changed.

In the rare occasions the AP poll and UPI (later BCS) have differed, the AP poll has preferred the team with the higher power rating (for betting purposes) literally every time, dating 40 years.

The AP poll has been around decades longer than the BCS, and will survive the BCS by decades.

8. Yes, the NCAA can't "vacate" an 8 year old poll.
Using the poll as a guide, as long as you can get to the final poll without getting caught, you're in the clear.
