Orioles win, and if the Rangers win tonight |
|
they go to first place. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Way to win O's. Bedard is back, Sosa seems to have some power back and Tejada got the big hit.

Theres nothing I would love more than to see them in first place on my birthday which is on sunday. Hell they havent been above 500 on my birthday since 97 also the last time they finished first. Anyhow I think the Orioles will get better when Javy Lopez gets back, Erik Bedard is finally back and he pitched great tonight, got a ND but still is a great pitcher.

They got their 3-4-5 coming up who are 7-11 tonight but Rivera is one of the best closers in the league so that may be a bit of a challenge but hes not invincible.

I really think this one will be decided on the last day of the year, god if two make it, I just hope one of them is the Orioles, I am sick of being out of the playoffs.

21. Hypothetical here, who would replace Torre should he be fired |
|
Weve seen former Yankee coaches like Randolph go to the Mets and Maz who was I believe your third base coach become ours, PS Maz is the best manager the O's have had since Davey Johnson.

it will be Joe Girardi when the time comes. I'd love to have Showalter back but that won't ever happen. Paul O'Neill could be an interesting choice as well.

24. Giradi is coaching now? |
|
or what, I remember when he caught for the Rockies and Cubs, then the Yanks. I remember Showalter, he got the team on the right track after the mid 80's-early 90's struggle, kind of how Frank Robinson and Johnny Oates did for us.

Bench coaches generally are successors to managers, night, hope you realize that despite being an awoded hater of the Yankees, I can be fair, I dont belive money caused the turnaround.

29. I hate the Yankees with all my heart |
|
but their comeback from the diaster at the beginning was more to with heart than money, now I hope to god they lose tonight of course, but if the Orioles pull away to first and the Twins appear to lock up the wild card spot, and the Sox are closer to second than the Yanks, I want the Yankees to be parasites, I actually wanted the Yanks to win that series this past weekened too, no gain really since we blew the last two games in seattles.
