Just when you think all hope is lost...they get Jacques Jones and Luis Rivas signed...lookin good for 2005

Sounds like skinflint Pohlad let Terry Ryan go over budget a bit!!!

although there was some thought here in Cubdom that Jones might make a good replacement for ALou in left field.

I have always thought that Jones was a good ball player.:toast:
