Report: Palmeiro tested positive for stanozolol.
That's the same steroid used by Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson.

1. Interesting. This has reminded me of Ben Johnson from the beginning
I wanted to believe Ben, too. Thing is, Ben's reputation was hurt badly by his lies, even more than the steroid. If it's proven Palmeiro is lying, I think his Hall of Fame chances will be hurt.

He's friends of Bush. Bush must convince everyone around him that cheating is good, and that you'll never get caught.

4. Maybe somebody spiked his water...
Edited on Wed Aug-03-05 12:25 PM by SidDithers
after all, that excuse worked so well for Ben. :sarcasm:

"When Canadian sprinter Ben Johnson was stripped of his gold medal for the 100-meter race at the Seoul Olympics for using illegal steroids, he claimed that someone had spiked his water bottle. "
