Arkansas is going to beat them again and you know it. It might be the Hogs only win this year, but in the end, it's Shula's fault, the big baby.

Plus, you'll be going up against the best DB's in the nation according to Athlon. We finished 1st in the nation in pass defense last year. Get ya some. :smoke:

7. FSU at 10
by ranking UF and Miami, you're saying they're going to have at least 2 losses

no 2 loss team is going to be in the top 10

you have FOUR ACC teams in the top 25

I'll have what you're smoking

8. ESPN put FSU at six. If they lose to Miami, they are out of top 25.
Miami is FSU's first game this year. Tough first game.

10. Hook 'em, Horns!
Here's hoping your poll is correct. I like seeing UT in the top five. Usually what happens is I get my hopes up for a good season, then after the ass-whooping from OU I decide football isn't that great after all. :P So, you can imagine my pleasure at your prediction of OU sliding in at #9.

A&M at #13? Feh.

I'm ready for some college football!

Peace,

RV

11. Texas and Ohio State are no better than 5 and 6, at best.
And 4 ACC schools is at least 1 if not 2, too many.

But my Tar Heels aren't in anyone's Top 25, and shouldn't be.

17. No
I hate Tennessee with the passion of a thousand suns, but that is an objective ranking. I don't think they have what it takes to play for the National Title or even SEC Championship.

20. I Hate UThug
Yes, but I honestly do think they will be around the #15 spot. Hell, we almost beat them with a 3rd string QB in Knoxville last year... UcheaT is nothing to write home about this season.

21. "UThug" and "Ucheat"? Man you 'Bama guys crack me up....
....Talk about seeing things through Crimson glasses. Are your coaches still screwing the office personel, $1000 Hookers, and paying off Memphis High School Coaches? Just curious....

Man, don't throw stones, when you live in glass houses...B-)

You follow Bama football pretty closely don't you? I get the office deal, but where does the $1000 hookers and paying off Memphis HS coaches come from? UA wasn't paying Albert Means, a booster was. We had no control over that.

22. It's pretty sad you don't root for all SEC teams
The Vols are my favorite team. I've been a lifelong Vols and Vanderbilt fan, but I root for all SEC teams. I want Bama to win when they're playing out of conference. You should do the same, because when other SEC teams win, it makes Bama look better, too. Being in a strong conference helps their recruiting and strength of schedule.

Also, I don't know where you get the Uthug and Ucheat thing....that's completely baseless. Tennessee is one of the cleaner programs out there that is successful. Phil Fulmer runs a clean program.

Also, they'll be in the top ten. I'm not sure they'll win the title, because they have an extremely tough schedule. They only have two easy games, and that's UAB and Memphis - and actually those two teams can surprise somebody every now and then (if you don't take them seriously). The rest of the games are all SEC games and Notre Dame.

So we gotta play at Notre Dame, at Florida, at LSU, at Alabama, and at Kentucky. Very few teams can win all those games. We're going to have to get a little lucky, like when we won the title with Tee Martin. However, this team is going to be a lot better than last years team, which did pretty good. We'll probably lose 1 or 2 of those games, and have a good shot at going to the SEC title game. If we win that, we're guaranteed a BCS.

24. Well,
I'm glad that you pull for us. But I just can't do the same for you.

The fact is that UT is not a clean program and Phat Phil is the master of slime... or icing that is. ;)

25. Where exactly do you come up with these accusations?
Stop slinging dirt if you have no facts to back it up. I've never heard of any recruiting violations in Tennessee since Fulmer's been the coach.

And it's pretty stupid to make fun of somebody who's fat. That's just as bad as the freepers who call Michael Moore fat. They resort to name calling because they've got nothing else.

Wait.....I just did a google search and found out why:

http://www.decaturdaily.com/decaturdaily/sports/040725/fulmer.shtml

LOL...you're mad at Fulmer because he went to the NCAA with your recruiting violations, and you got busted because of it?

That makes him a tattle-tale, not dirty. And if you guys weren't playing fair, he was right for doing it.

USC is surely the team to beat. And Tennessee ain't far behind. If I had to predict:

1. Tennessee
2. USC
3. LSU
4. Auburn
