Edited on Tue Dec-28-04 06:05 AM by Champ
The teams in the AFC who are down to one final week and have yet to clinch or get eliminated are.......
#5(10-5)New York Jets - Final Game:@ (7-8)St Louis
#6(9-6)Denver - Final Game:VS (12-3)Indianapolis
------------------------------------------------------
#7(9-6)Buffalo - Final Game:VS (14-1)Pittsburgh
#8(8-7)Jacksonville - Final Game:@ (5-10)Oakland
#9(8-7)Baltimore - Final Game:VS (4-11)Miami

Refer to this thread to see team-by-team scenarios. I voted for Choice 1.

1. Here's what makes it very dicey for the Jets
They're playing a team that just came off a win against the Eagles on Monday night who are fighting for a playoff spot.

If they lose - they depend on losses of two teams who are playing the two teams who have clinched everything that's clinchable and have no motivation to win, let alone have they're starters in the whole game.

2. Not a chance the Jets lose that game.
I'm sorry, but the NFC just plain bites this year, and the Rams would be 3-12 if they were in the AFC central, at best. Don't read too much into them beating an Eagles team that was resting all of their starters and mailing in a meaningless game.

4. The Jets are going to rip apart the Rams.
Denver chokes, Buffalo rolls in and scares every playoff team shitless.

Denver has their BIG DL player back who was gone all year. They have Tatum Bell healthy who is going to run up and down the Colts D. Plummer is going to scare them with the play action and hit Lelie with a long pass. He is #2 in the league in most 30+ yard passes. They're ready for the playoffs.

On edit: They're at Mile High in the winter.

7. And not one game in Denver
One of their biggest advantages of the donkeys is playing up there, which the Denver Donkeys will not have. The Chargers will probably be an also ran, but Denver is going NO WHERE

Should be fun watching KC best up the Bolts this week
