So, the best offense met the best defense. Guess what happened?

Blowout. The final score (115 - 94) isn't even close to reflecting the true destruction of the Suns. We cleared our bench halfway through the fourth quarter, with a 30 point lead.

Tony Parker demolished yet another point guard. But he's still not talked about that much. Which is great, nobody sees him coming.

Parker: 29 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists (in only 30 minutes)
Steve Nash: 12 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists (also only 30 minutes)

Nash didn't score after the first quarter, and only had one or two assists.

The second and third quarters, we outscored them 61 - 34.

Spurs outrebounded the Suns 52 - 39. 8 more assists, and 8 more blocks (including some monsters by Duncan).

On the plus side for Phoenix, Amare Stoudamire is a monster.

On the minus side, Spurs held the Suns to under 40% shooting while shooting over 50%.

Defense wins championships.
