They just lost the coin for the OT toss in the GB/Lions game! |
|
Anyone just see that? They were asking people on the sidelines for a coin :)

I'd no vested interest in the outcome of that game, but Detroit was MAJORLY ripped off with not one but two totally fucked calls in OT. That call of "no safety" was probably the most outrageously fucked up call I've seen all season. Someone needs to lodge a protest with the commisssioner's office.

5. That coin flip gag was hysterical |
|
Especially that referee checking his pockets fruitlessly. He's one of the best head umpires and always very impressive in how he makes the calls and with his gestures. But last night his crew sucked and he barely could be understood trying to speak through the cold.
I guess I liked the coin flip farce since at +7 going into OT I was finally safe. A team like the Lions is always capable of blowing something until it's mathematically impossible. That QB sneak on 4th and goal made me scream.
