They came to play. I was worried, after last weeks sort of lackluster appearance. Today, they beat a good team.

That's my old reliable anti-revenge theory. I've mentioned it on DU before. You bet the home team in the first half if it defeated the opponent previously on the road. I love it early in the season but late in the year the teams face other issues and it isn't as relevant so I seldom bet it.
The one glaring exception is a division matchup in which the first game was outright theft by the road team. The team that pulled out the victory on the road inevitably has surreal energy and intensity in the rematch. They are determined to smack the visitor in the face again to prove the earlier meeting was no fluke. So that scenario fit Washington bigtime today. If you remember, the first game was a Dallas walkover at 13-0 until two bombs to Santana Moss in the final minutes for a stunning reversal. That it was a high profile game on Monday night made this situation even sweeter.
I was thrilled the Colts lost in the early games so that momentum carried over to my main wager of today on Washington in the first half. It was a 35-0 cruise. Just too damn bad Dallas played home to Philadelphia before stealing the win over the Eagles on Monday night. That would have fit the system also if Dallas had hosted Philadelphia later.
