Will Myron Cope rejoin the Steelers' radio booth for SB XL? |
|
I'd love to hear him, for one 1/4, at least.
I got hooked on Myron last year on Sirius. I plan on bringing the Sirius boom-box to work so I can listen to the Pittsburgh broadcast.
When the Red Wings won the Cup in '97 Bruce Martyn rejoined the booth for game 4 against Philly. He had retired the previous summer. Martyn got to call Darren McCarty's Cup winning goal.
I hope Myron gets one last call of Bettis driving it in for six.

4. No, not currently on Sirius |
|
Sirius carries all teams' home broadcasts. So if my Packers are playing your Steelers I have the choice of which broadcast I can listen to(w/one exception. The Titans broadcasts aren't carried).
I listened to Myron last year(and a few years earlier, when you could listen on-line for free). I was listening to the game when he fell down. It was freaky- he didn't say anything for about ten minutes, and when he spoke again one could tell he'd sustained a concussion.
He's not on Sirius, currently. Don't rush out to Best Buy to get a radio just because of Myron.
