3. Dolphins are money at +13 or higher
I've followed the team since the late '60s and the only three games Miami has been an underdog in that range they won all 3 straight up -- at Rams in '80, at San Diego last year, and today.

I was never concerned about a team with Rex Grossman at QB going undefeated. Peyton in his prime, now that's another matter. I started squirming in the 4th quarter of the opener at the Giants, trying to get it out of the way. The Colts are more vulnerable this year than last season but Peyton puts up routine TDs on every meaningful 4th quarter drive.

As a '72 Dolphin season ticket holder I'd love to pop the cork tonight but I have no idea how New England is supposed to slow down Peyton. Not with all the confidence the Colts have after winning at New England last year, and the way they pulled out the game last week. When you think New England has regained elite status they demonstrate they have not, like the home game against Denver this year.

4. '72 Dolphin season ticket holder---
yep...me to.

It seems like a thousand years ago.

The Phins had heart today and Taylor proved he's one of the best in the game.

5. JT is one of the greatest in team history
In fact, put him at one DE and Bill Stanfill at the other, in terms of the alltime franchise team.

In '72 we had seats on the north side, lower deck about even with the east end zone. Maybe 40 rows up. Easy read of the tiny scorecard and the attached sign, "Poly Turf, Synthetic Grass by American Biltrite."

Unfortunately, so far I'm right the Patriots have no clue or ability in terms of stopping the Colts offense. If they make it past tonight, Indianapolis still has to travel to Jacksonville, but frankly the Colts scare me to death in terms of going unbeaten, every year as long as Manning is at his peak. I've never felt that way before, regarding any other team.

6. I sat in the closed end zone, 20 rows up.
It was called the MacArthur Dairy Huddle club and seasons tics were 15 bucks per year.

The Colts won't go undefeated... Manning is bound to have one bad game.

7. Colts vs Dolphins...
...final game of the year. It could come down to that.

I sat in that endzone in '69.

From '70 - '73 my seats were on the 40 yard line, northside, lower deck all the way up underneath the upper deck overhang.

8. I remember that MacArthur sign
I can still picture the starting lineup of either the offense or defense lining up along the back of that end zone and being announced one by one, running through the tunnel of Dolphin Doll youth cheerleaders.

It was such a team concept in that era the community knew every player, and the offensive linemen drew as much applause as Griese or Zonk or Warfield.
