Maybe smtpgirl is an FSU fan. I'm not sure. But it makes more sense geographically for a Redskin fan to also root for Maryland.
Actually FSU did a classy thing this weekend. They had stickers with Bryan Pata's number on their helmets, after he was killed last week.
I still can't believe that happened in Kendall, in the area of 93rd Street and 77th avenue, just a few blocks south of Kendall Drive.

Now I'm seeing projections for the Phins to fun the table.
I'll keep in mind we scored 13 points two of the three victories. But you've got to admire the defensive intensity. Maybe stopping a game winning drive for a change will pay dividends down the road.
I hope to be emulating JJ of old and saying, "how 'bout 'dem Cowboys?" on Sunday night. But I bet it the other way, Peyton at pick'em over Romo, and over 48 points. That's a scenario I'll take every time, Peyton needing to put up only 24 points for me to break even at worst.

I'll root against Duke in anything, other than when they play the Gators. At that point I root for simultaneous forfeit.
But I've gotta admit, your Lady Terps were so far behind in that game I turned it off. That made it all the sweeter hours later when I heard Duke had blown the game and the title.
