Anyone watch the MLS championship match?
I didn't have a dog in the fight, but it was a great ending. The New England Revolution scored first in OT but the Houston Dynamo tied it up a minute or so later (no golden goal). It went to penalty kicks, and right down to the last one, with Houston prevailing 4-3.

What was really cool was seeing how into it Dynamo's fans were. Hopefully with good talent and great fans, the MLS can really spread professional association football in the US and bring the country into the party the rest of the world is already having :)

1. Yes
The Dynamo were a hot ticket this season, drawing close to 20,000 a game in in U of H's Robertson Stadium for games in their first year here (they were the San Jose Earthquakes just last year). The championship-winning save by goalie Onstad:

Most of the announcing crew seemed to favor New England, but the game was played in the Dallas suburb of Frisco, so H-Town fans were well-represented (naturally, the Dynamo now want a $100 million dollar facility of their own).
