1. Did Not Do It
I know many people will say that I am crazy especially now, but I do not think O.J. Simpson performed the murders. From what I heard when the body was found she (Nicole Brown Simpson) had been given a Columbian Neck Tie. From what I was told that is when your throat is cut and then you tongue is pulled out through your neck. I do not see how O.J. could have done that and taken out Ron Goldman. Yes, he will say in that book that if he had done it he would have had a partner, but I still am more willing to believe Brown-Simpson was the victim of Columbian drug dealers who came to her house in order to collect a drug debt. I think Goldman was either into the drugs with Brown-Simpson or just an innocent bystander who had to die to keep the murders from being revealed.

I think part of the reason people keep looking at O.J. is they nor Brown-Simpson's family want to acknowledge/talk about the fact Brown-Simpson was still on drugs and might have made the wrong people angry.

2. I think the book and the interview - while legal
whereas what Pete Rose did was illegal - is just conduct unbecoming. I notice the NFL doesn't have a link to the story on their web page. On a recent sports discussion show a panelist said if you put people in the Hall in any way based on their off the field activities, you'd have to start throwing busts out of the building. I assumed she was talking about Simpson.

4. Except she wasn't given a Columbian Neck tie

Here's the autopsy report. http://www.lectlaw.com/files/cas45.htm

You do not deal with Columbians when you have a drug problem. You deal with street dealers. And while those folks can get nasty, they are not big on credit purchases. They do not show up with a death squad alah Scarface.

I think part of the reason is that he beat the shit out of her.

Wiki has a decent breakdown even with alternative theories http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O._J._Simpson_murder_trial

7. She Did
It came up in court testimony. You could say it was just a ploy by Simpson's lawyers, but they pointed out how she was murdered.

3. OJ is in the Hall of Fame to acknowledge what he did on the field, not off.

6. Well, yes. He was quite a running back. He's a murdering creep now.

8. It may be possible, but I'd rather not
Of course, I think it's past time to put Pete Rose in baseball's HoF. Four thousand hits speak for themselves. That can't be taken away from him.

O. J. murdered his ex-wife and her friend. I thought so at the time and think so now.

On the field, O. J. set records and was one of the great NFL running backs of all time. That can't be taken away from him.
