Whether it is outstanding outfield plays or clutch hitting (everything from home runs to drag bunts) that guy is just one hell of a ballplayer. He may never make an all-star team but I guarantee every major league team would like a player like Chavez coming off their benches.
Did I mention that I really, really like Endy Chavez?

I never heard of him before he came to the Mets. I couldn't even tell you who he played for before he was on our team.
