http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/football/nfl/11/01/packers.kgb.ap/index.htmlI don't get to see a lot of Packers games, so maybe some of you Green Bay fans can enlighten the rest of us as to why they would release their all-time sack leader.

and I don't know. I called my cousin who is a super-fan and he figures that he has been dinged up and hasn't been effective for the last few years. He is the highest paid member of the defense and the just decided to cut and run. I really don't get it with Cullen Jenkins out for the season why it wouldn't make sense to just cut him at the end of the year.

he was not good at all against run defense, they just inked an extension for rodgers, and Harrell is supposed to be coming into his health (finally) now

3. That is what I figured |
|
But they would save the cap space if they released him at the end of the year, so I don't get it he is a warm body that has performed well against the NFC North

They need space for Harrell -- Ted Thompson wasted a 1st round pick on him, so that's why.
I'm sorry to see KGB go (I'm the loyal type!).

6. I knew there was a reason... |
|
...that Brett Favre was able to leak secrets to the Lions without fear of retribution.
Not that it helped the Lions any.
