Packers v Bears-a great rivalry. Is PE Obama a Bears fan? |
|
Game day forecast is cloudy and cold. I love these games, they are the highlight of the football season for me. I dont care if we go 2-14 as long as we sweep the Bears! But really I have developed a heathy respect for the our rivalry. Its mostly 'rah-rah' and no hatred. Now the Vikings? Different story.
A great, storied, history. Should be a game for the ages, along with the next to last match-up of the season. Big game? They hired Lovie with the expressed intent of beating the Packers. He has done a good job, he's a good coach ifn he can win with Orten. Last years fiasco in Chitown was one of the reasons we got rid of Favre or why he left. Poor cold weather play.
They are banged up on pass defense, but cant pass on offense. But our Oline and Dlines stink. We may be able to pass (unless Lovie sends the blitz) but will have no run game. Take the under

Amazingly, Orten (Orton?) was playing quite well before messing up his ankle. Those words are hard to type coming from a diehard IU fan. If the Pack can stop Forte, then the Bears are in trouble because the Bears DLine (outside of occasional plays from Ogunleye) has sucked this year. They'll have to blitz to put pressure, and that could cause some issues. Time of possession and turnovers will be key. Maybe Hester will run a couple back today! I don't think we get that game here in Indy, so I guess I'll have the laptop fired-up!
GO BEARS!

It's supposed to be windy up there today. So, that might limit Rodgers a bit and that can't hurt a defense that can't stop the short pass. The Professor

They were HORRIBLE on defense yesterday. But, good thing we had our "savior" at QB yesterday.
Grossman gets two TD's against the freakin' Titans, and they score 3 against Green Bay.
Pathetic. GAC

15. I've Gone To Packers Games For Years, |

and never ran into a bad Bear fan. I'm serious. They're great fun to watch a game with. My first game at Lambeau was a Packer/Bears game. There was a Bear fan from Chicago. It was his first time ever at a Bear game. we had an absolutely GREAT time! I'll never forget it.

I think he said he's a Sox fan, he loves the Bulls and watches Bear games when he's in town. That was back some time ago, long before he was the frontrunner. But, i do think he's a Bear fan. The Professor

"A game for the ages" = 37-3 ass-whooping. "We...will have no run game" = 145 rush yards + a TD for Grant
That being said, grats on a must-win game for the Pack.
