I think Cadillac Williams (Bucs) just blew his knee out....
And that was some compelling uncensored TV on CBS.
Williams breaks off a nice run against Oakland in the fourth quarter and he gets tackled, just like any other tackle.
Nothing special.

He just recovered after knee surgery, had to sit out almost a year.
As soon as he goes down, he grabs his knee and he knew what just happened.

"Are you fucking KIDDING me!!" he's screaming as he's down on the ground.
"Get away from me!" he's screaming at the trainers that are trying to help him up off the field.

Man, I feel bad for that guy.
I hope it's just a sprain.

Oakland just scored, 28-24 Oakland is up in Tampa Bay's house 7 min left in the 4th.
This is a good game.

1. Just based on what you've posted here - there's no way that's a sprain.
That kind of pain, without any really extreme torque or any pressure outside of what it would normally take to bring down a 230-pound man running at full speed, has got to be something serious. I think he probably tried to rush himself back too fast. If I remember right, his (initial) injury was something like what Willis McGahee sustained in his last game as a college running back, in the National Championship game against Ohio State, although I don't think it looked quite as gruesome. McGahee didn't play at all the next season, and was eased into assuming the starting role about halfway into 2004.

This wasn't your normal ACL tear, and the Bucs made a mistake in bringing him back along that schedule (if that is indeed what happened).
