Is airing now. You don't have to be a football fan to enjoy this one. Great stories, great personalities, great T.V.
The New York Football Giants vs The Baltimore Colts. 1958. In Yankee Stadium. In color.
Check it out.

3. A perfect match of timing and game |
|
I think it was on on a Sunday night possibly around Christmas. Everyone was at home locked in to what ever was on one of the THREE networks and it happened.
Similar, in timing, to Fluties pass against Miami-it was the day after Thanksgiving so everyone was in full football mode without yet being burned out on it.
Joey Harrington benefited from such a situation. Oregon was in the Rose Bowl and he has a great game in the middle of the afternoon. Rex Grossman had one of the single greatest passing games I have ever seen but it was late at night (Orange Bowl) and not when the most people were watching. Harrington got drafted first.
